48 Hours Neukoelln 2022, theme: "Bütün dünya kafayı yedi – All the world has gone mad"
Three paintings that illustrate a very personal Kafayı yemek experience from the past, that apparently has now spread all over the globe.
The democratization of the knowledge management on the internet still lacks corrective – although there is a real attempt to fact check – leading into a process that, due to increasing hostility against science, will send us straight into the next mystical era. Whether the disinformation is a random product or target-oriented manipulation is of secondary importance, since illusion has overtaken reality already, academic discourse has degenerated into battles of beliefs and black and white thinking forces people into taking sides. Those who are capable to distinguish between fact and fiction are buried by the avalanche of misinformation. The collapse of the individual and the system is becoming more real with every day.
